Come Shake Our Lulav!

Come find us at Chabad House to do your Sukkos mitzvah and shake our lulav & esrog! On the house!

This is a mitzvah that is unique to Sukkot is the taking of the Four Species: an etrog (citron), a lulav (palm frond), at least three hadassim (myrtle branches) and two aravot (willow branches). The Midrash tells us that the Four Species represent the various types and personalities that comprise the community of Israel, whose intrinsic unity we emphasize on Sukkot.

This wonderful, mystical, special mitzvah CANNOT be done if any one of the Four Species are not bound together. In the very same way, the Jewish people are not whole - if all of us are not included in our bond with the One Above - and with each other.

Throughout the Sukkot Holiday - October 17- 23, except for Shabbat. Daytime hours only.

Grand Simchat Torah Celebration!

Sing! Dance! Celebrate!

Sing and dance in celebration of the annual completion of the Torah reading. Young and old dance together, as we become the legs of our holy Torah, enabling it to dance. Enjoy a lavish Kiddush buffet and plenty of L’chaim as we dance with the Torah!

Date: Monday, October 24
Service begins at 6:30 pm; Celebration begins at 7:00 pm
Location: Chabad House, 410 Atkinson Drive , Honolulu, HI 96814

Holiday Appeal

There are many who come to Chabad's doors with  no means. Not only during this holiday - but throughout the year. Every Shabbat, every holiday.. No one is ever turned away. Please increase your generosity of Tzedakah (charity) during the Holiday season -  and help be a part of the great mitzvah of enabling all segments of the community to celebrate Sukkot and Simchat Torah. Remember G‑d's promise: "Asser bishvil she'titasher" - "Tithe so that you shall become wealthy". When YOU give, G‑d gives you back many many times more in return. Thank you for making the holy work of Chabad possible. Chag sameach!
