Celebrate Sukkot
With Us - Or @ Home
Evening of September 20 - September 27

Dear Friend,

The holiday of Sukkot is upon us! Starting Monday evening and going through Wed. Sept. 30. (Well, technically, that's Simchat Torah - but really, they are conjoined...:)) For our  Sukkos megasite, with everything you need to know about the holiday - click here.

The main mitzvot of Sukkot are spending time (especially eating) in the sukkah and waving the Four Kinds (lulav and etrog). If there is any way we can help you (or anyone in our community) perform these mitzvahs, please let us know.

Whether you'd like to join us at Chabad House for services and /or meals in the Sukkah (Chabad Sukkah is open throughout the 8-day holiday) - or you want to do your own thing at home or with a few friends, scroll below to find some more invaluable info: tips, guide, stories, essays, kids... You name it..:)

Even if you're not in the social mingling mode these days, it is possible to set up (an uncrowded) time when you can come and SHAKE OUR LULAV! Do the mitzvah of making a blessing on the 4 species Tuesday, 9/21 -Mon. 9/27 (except for Shabbat!) Please feel free to call (808-735-8161) or email to set something up.

KEEP SCROLLING BELOW FOR LOTS OF TIPS AND INFO!

We hope to see you in our Sukkah at some point - And, if not, please try to stop by for a quick blessing on the Lulav and etrog!

Tradition describes Sukkot as the “time of our rejoicing.” Let's get happy!...:)) Shabbat Shalom & Chag Sameach: Happy Sukkos!
