Restaurants

Aloha Lani is the only Glatt Kosher restaurant on O'ahu.  IT IS CURRENTLY CLOSED UNTIL SUMMER 2026.

The restaurant is under the supervision of Rabbi Itchel Krasnjansky and is in Chabad the Dining Hall, located on the ground floor.

The restaurant is open seasonally:  Chanukah thru Yeshiva Week, July, and August.

Meal Delivery Service

O'ahu Kosher is the only Glatt kosher delivery service that provides hot, fresh weekday meals for guests on O'ahu.  

The delivery service is owned and under the supervision of Chef Yudi Weinbaum and delivers and ships food to O'ahu and to its neighboring islands, respectively.

Supermarkets

There is a limited selection of kosher bread, meat, and non-chalav Yisroel (OU-D) dairy products  in the supermarkets and local stores.

The following are large stores where you can find many kosher products:

Walmart - 700 Ke’eaumoku St, Honolulu, HI 96814 - open 6 am - 11 pm. Good prices. Relatively close to Waikiki hotels. No kosher aisle, but stocks lots of everyday products with hechsher.

Costco (525 Alakawa St):

  • No Kosher Food Section

Safeway (888 Kapahulu Ave or 1234 South Beretania St) - kosher aisle with limited products, including:

  • Bread Aisle
    • Signature Bread (White & Whole Wheat)
    • Laromme Challah 
  • International Food Aisle
    • Yahrzeit and Shabbos Candles
    • Kedem grape juice
    • Matzo
    • Passover products (limited selection of non-perishables)

Sams Club and Walmart (750 Ke’eaumoku St):

  • Bartenura's Moscato wine

Tamura's Fine Wines (3496 Waialae Ave):

  • Assorted wines

Whole Foods (4211 Waialae Ave or 388 Kamakee St):

  • Baron Herzog Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Chenin Blanc and Bartenura Moscato wine
  • "Got Kosher" Challahs

Western Kosher is a grocery store in Los Angeles, CA that in under the OK kosher certification and regularly ships food to O'ahu, Kauai, and the Big Island.
